Overnight pharmacies across Cyprus on Tuesday, October 20
Duty pharmacies will stay open through the night in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta district, according to the published roster.
Cyprus has published its overnight pharmacy roster for Tuesday, 20 October 2026, with at least one duty chemist listed in each district. As reported by the source list, residents in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta district all have a late-hours option.
Coverage is heaviest in Nicosia and Limassol, which each have five pharmacies on duty, while Larnaca has three and Paphos and the Famagusta district have two apiece. The addresses range from central streets to suburban areas such as Strovolos, Engomi, Mesa Geitonia and Paralimni.
Each entry carries a landline and, in most cases, a mobile number for after-hours enquiries. The full list, including street addresses and phone contacts, is set out by district below.
- Nicosia: Liza Varelia, Thekla Theofanous, Ploutarchos Georgiades, Eva Assioti, Margarita Proestou, Anna Maria Kyriazou
- Limassol: Eleni Papafylaktou-Teridi, Charoula Agamemnonos, Grigoris Grigoriou, Marianna Kardiakidou, Marina Lefteridi
- Larnaca: Lefteris Georgiou, Pavlos Apostolides, Iliana Pyrillou
- Paphos: Nikoleta Patatou, Giannis Gavriel
- Famagusta district: Despoina Loizou, Antigoni Stavri
What it means for residents
If someone in the household falls ill after normal closing time, the roster decides where to drive — and in a country where many people rely on a car, the distance between districts matters. Save the number before you need it.
- Check the district first. The nearest duty pharmacy may be in a neighbouring municipality, so plan the route in advance.
- Call ahead. A short ring confirms the chemist is open and has the medicine in stock before you set off.
- Keep the list handy. Screenshot the entry for your area so it is available if the connection drops.
