Residents needing medicine after hours on Friday, September 25, will find late-night chemists on duty in every district, as listed in the official roster published by Cyprus Mail.

Nicosia has six overnight points, Limassol five, Larnaca three and Paphos two, while the Famagusta district is covered by two pharmacies in Paralimni and Sotira.

Each entry below carries the pharmacy name, street address, area and telephone number, so patients can call ahead before travelling.

  • Nicosia: Iakovos Papaiakovou (Strovolos), Panagiota (Tania) Argyrou (Engomi), Chara Nikolaou (Aglandjia), Christina Konstantopoulou (Nicosia), Konstantinos Chatziathanassiou (Lakatamia), Eva Kyriakou (Latsia)
  • Limassol: Andreas Georgoudis, Christina Nikiforou, Andreas Nikolaidis, Michalis Pachoumis, Maria Theocharidou
  • Larnaca: Pavlos Apostolidis (Larnaca), Iliana Pyrillou (Aradippou), Lefteris Georgiou (Larnaca)

Editorial note

What it means for residents

The overnight roster matters most to households without a car, to elderly people and to anyone whose treatment cannot wait until morning, so it pays to check the nearest duty point before setting out.

  • Call first. Numbers are listed for every pharmacy, and staff can confirm stock and closing time before you travel.
  • Plan the route. In Nicosia and Limassol most duty chemists sit on main avenues, which keeps late drives short but parking limited.
  • Keep the list. Saving the district entries on your phone helps on nights when the usual neighbourhood pharmacy is shut.
